Easter Tower STEM challenge

P2 were given half an hour to create a structure that would hold an Easter egg at a height using only cocktail sticks, playdoh and a piece of card, if required. The children worked in teams to plan, build and evaluate their designs. They explored how the position of the sticks, the amount of sticks used and the careful placement of playdoh impacted the strength and success of their towers. Following a nail-biting test conducted by Mrs McQuillan, armed with a single creme egg, we can confirm that every tower successfully held the egg! Congratulations, P2!
