Myths and Legends

As part of our WAU topic ‘Myths and Legends’, we completed lots of cross curricular activities. We developed questions on the Children of Lir before completing Hot Seating and wrote a recount of the Salmon of Knowledge. The children constructed a dialogue between Cú Chulainn and the blacksmith and took part in Freeze Frames based on Tír na nÓg. The boys and girls created a fact file on Finn McCool and the Giant’s Causeway and drew their favourite myth or legend that we studied.
