Primary One have had a very busy start to the term. They have been blending their sounds for reading in phonics and learning about addition in numeracy. Today the children were introduced to their new Space topic. During play they were able to explore the space table, playing with the big rocket and using their imagination when landing on the moon. They even used the stilts to walk on the moon! They used Lego to make spaceships, enjoyed drawing and mark making and made stars with the play-dough. Finally they learned facts about the different planets and enjoyed listening to the story, Alien’s love underpants! Well done boys and girls, you are all superstars!
