Primary One were very busy today! 🐛 As part of their new topic, they enjoyed celebrating Very Hungry Caterpillar Day, where they were given a series of challenges to complete. First, they had to find parts of the story hidden around the school. Luckily the children and teachers in other classes helped the primary ones to read words and patch the story together. Next was snack time where we had some very hungry caterpillars who chopped up their own fruit snack. Yummy! In Numeracy, the boys and girls learned about gathering and recording information on a graph. Finally, the children ended the day with a story in the outdoor classroom and even enjoyed a special treat for completing all the challenges and working as a team.
